Toyota’s Smart City: Woven City

Toyota unveiled its plan on building a “city of the future” equipped with future technologies such as self-driving vehicles run on hydrogen fuel cells, robots, smart homes and new forms of personal mobility. Toyota is calling it the Woven City.

For this, Toyota will be using a 175-acre plot of land near Mount Fuji in Japan. The land will be used to build a “living laboratory” that will include full-time residents and researchers who will test and develop technologies such as autonomy, robotics, personal mobility, and smart homes, in a real-world environment.

Samsung’s exoskeleton system: GEMS

Samsung showcased its G.E.M.S. (Gait Enhancing and Motivation System) exoskeleton last CES as walking assistance. This year, the GEMS was showcased as an exercising assistance. Dell Alienware Concept UFO: PC Gaming On The Go

Dell showed off the Alienware Concept UFO, a portable gaming system that resembles the Nintendo Switch. The Concept UFO is a fully configured and capable Windows 10 PC. Alienware has confirmed that the 8″ Concept UFO is equipped with an Intel’s 10th generation Core processor. So, it can run most of the PC games despite of its small form-factor.
